“A system of coordinated procedures for apprehending bugs”.
A couple of weeks ago I have participated (and finally won) the HTML Design Guru Contest, organized by SourceGear. The competition task was to present as flexible as possible and handy interface, and to cover all the requirements. The design itself is modest. I have put emphasis on the HTML. All table elements are precisely organized, following the line: caption > thead > tfoot > tbody. The same scheme is applied to forms, which are irrevocable part of the interface. Each field is connected with label and with corresponding accesskey. In order to prove that the design and the code are 100% independent, I have created 3 styles (the difference is only in the colour schemes). The “Light” theme was the most favoured one.
